The people that pick up the phone neither know the basics of how their office functions nor care to try to learn. I just called to learn how to appeal a property assessment that was done last year and the woman was snarky and uninformed, she did not even attempt to help me and just gave me the number of another government office to call.

Please note that for you to pay personal property tax at the main office in Clayton, or at any of the three satellite offices, credit/debt cards are NOT accepted. ...Only Money Order, or Check, or Cash (though the West County office does NOT accept cash).
AS is with all government entities, this one is worthless. They can't even list the correct phone number.
