Susan at the store was great to work with. Also the finished product was wonderful. However the entire installation process was terrible. The crew came and went as they pleased with no notice when they would be there or when they left. Some days they showed up at 8am and others after 10. They also damaged our kitchen cabinets, door threshold, door seal, several walls, several interior doors, and cut our gas line. They also used pieces of our tile to shim the subfloor and couldn't get the transition from our kitchen to living room to be flat even though they told us it would be fine from the initial estimate on. They also used flat paint to touch up spots on our cabinets and toe kick. Left terrible mess in our garage and cigarette butts in the driveway. I can only recommend using them to purchase your flooring and not for installation.
Advance Carpet One and in particular Susan Cherkiss were big helps after we had some flood damage in our basement. Not only did Susan provide insight into the best solutions for replacing the existing carpet and pad, she also gave me good suggestions and resources for dealing with the water problem in the basement as well.
I have had the pleasure of getting to know the Advance Carpet One crew at the South County location for over a year now, and I cannot say enough great things about their personalized service, and their attention to detail. Susan Cherkiss (who works at the South County office, but will travel anywhere around StL if need be) has a heart and a passion for creating an experience that I didn't think was possible when working with my flooring. I felt as if she was making choices for my floor with my own best interests in mind- as if it were her floor that she was choosing.

Susan and advanced carpet installed our new kitchen floor with tile and our entire basement carpet due to water leak in our fridge. They were awesome and the service and workmanship was outstanding. I highly recommend Susan who is very invested and knowledgeable of all her products.
