This is really an excellent museum. It has well-done exhibits shown in a easy-to-understand chronological order with plenty of St. Louis connections highlighting the influence of the Jewish community in St. Louis. It is undergoing renovation currently but that doesn't influence the quality of the exhibits in my opinion
I'm amazed that for a small museum the history it holds is incredible. I learned so much in an hour and a half that I never knew. The tour guides do an amazing job of explaining things so well and you honestly can feel the emotions as they tell their stories of history. Free to the public and well worth a stop by. Great for children learning about the Holocaust. The pictures and stories bring a sense of learning to me that made me want to know even more. Very kind employees who make the experience even better. If you love history, you will love this!

I really enjoyed the presentation Talk, Listen and Learn. I had never been their before and it was really moving. The pictures in the opening gallery all have a STL connection and I loved how the truth was written with frankness and compassion.
I was stationed in Germany. Visited Dachau. This museum is the best I've ever had the privilege of visiting. We were given a tour by a very well informed guide, who took his time, pointed out individuals in pics sharing their side story. The information, displays, pictures take you to a very dark time where the world turned it's back in people who were defenseless. The information lays out the facts.
