the police are friendly and keep a strong presence in the neighborhood. i have never felt so safe before. i had to call the police last night for hearing shots fired and they arrived within ONE minute. they did not spend their time dealing with me in the middle of the night, they simply dealt with the problem and i got to go to sleep feeling safe. THANK YOU BEL-RIDGE POLICE!!!!! You are appreciated.
The Bel-Ridge Police Department has a reputation for pulling over and ticketing people for various unwarranted reasons; especially near Highway I-170 and Natural Bridge Road near QuikTrip and Huck's. If you fight the ticket, the cops will just lie in court.
Whoever reads this BEWARE OF THIS DEPARTMENT!!!! They're the most DISHONEST, CORRUPT POLICE OFFICERS ESPECIALLY THE DETECTIVE MARK HARRIS AND THE CAPTAIN SHAWN THIEMANN!!!!! Half the time the officers sit in their office together chatting It up when they should be on the streets patrolling, keeping the Residents of their City Safe! What I'm writing is THE TRUTH AND I HOPE EVERYONE READS THIS AND ALWAYS KNOW THAT MEN LIKE THESE TWO SHOULDNT BE POLICE OFFICERS ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY GO SO FAR TO EVEN HURT A WOMAN AND HER BUSINESS TO SUPPORT HER SON!!!!!
