Hello customers I'm sorry to inform you that this location will not be a family dollar anymore , it will either close or be turned into dollar express which is owned by dollar general. Due to the dollar general location down the street in St Louis market place shopping center this location may close. When dollar tree purchased family dollar the government forced dollar tree to sell 300 family dollar locations in order to merge , dollar tree sold those 300 family dollar locations to dollar general and dollar general are turning the family dollar locations into dollar express. There are 6 other family dollar locations in St Louis mo that will either close or be turned into a dollar express , the family dollar location on Martin Luther King Jr and Aubert ave will be turned into a dollar express.
The staff isn't bad. The store could be a little cleaner and organized. They also should front and face a little more with their products, but it's a decent store.

I needed some cat treats for my cat & this store is right down the street from my house. So I ran in the grab some cat treats. I was surprised at what a neat store it was. Needless to say, I bought more than just cat treats . . . . The cashier was very friendly with a cheerful hi, how are you, when I walked in the door !! The store has some really good buys & the price's are very reasonable. I will be going back to that store. I wish now I had wondered into it a long time ago !!!???
