All around not happy at all.
I had some wear and tearing on a 3 year old Merlot leather sofa set. Phil from Ram Leather came to my house to repair. He matched the colors impeccably and the sofas look BRAND NEW! I could not be happier with the work.
I have no trust for Ram Cleaners. I prepaid for the cleaning of my leather coat so that someone else could pick it up. I have limited mobility. But when the coat was picked up it had not been cleaned. At all!!! It needs to be cleaned and sanitized. Again I have no trust in this company. That is very bad customer service.
They offered no apology, or any indication that I should have been warned ahead of time or anything. I just hope the softness comes back a little bit with additional use. The Jacket's softness was its best quality, so I consider the money spent to have actually decreased its value to me.
Called Ram today with a question regarding my sofa. He gave me a lot of helpful tips and information. Now I can likely fix the problem myself!
The restoration looks nice, and the lining appears well done, however the softness of the leather has been replaced by a dry, very rough texture. I noticed immediately and asked about it when I picked it up, and the clerk told me that it must have been a treatment applied by factory on the coat originally but that was removed by the cleaning process.
I had a wonderfully soft black leather jacket for a number of years, which I had been maintaining with various leather products throughout the years, but the lining had deteriorated pretty significantly. I brought it to Ram to have it relined, and decided a professional cleaning and restoration would do it some good.
