It's like looking in a box of crayons. Chest high yellows and purples all in bloom (Sept)
Pond has long angled wood bridge overlooking about 20 swimming water turtles, couple ducks and a few goldfish etc
Great place for turtles. There are a lot of them in the pond. The trails are nice and as you get deeper in the place feels like you are away from the city.
Nice place. A lot of trails in a small area (condensed). The fresh mulch trail is like walking on pillows or a shaggy rug (multiple layers, fresh layer)
Very busy place. Well taken care of. Dog friendly.
Back sign says the fescue was removed for prairie plants
Great place for a quick walk. The turtles and toads in the pond are fun to watch. Plus there aren't very many other places like this in the area
This is an unexpectedly delightful little oasis. The forests are a bit overgrown and need some upkeep but overall it is a wonderful nature haven. The pond in the back is particularly biodiverse. My children love to come here and look at the turtles. A community treasure.
