But seriously, this place made my kids face light up with so much joy the entire 3 hrs we were there. I can not thank them enough.

We saw Santa arrive in a helicopter, played in the Creation Station, rode the train, walked the path, and ate in the cafe. My boys loved every minute of it. The food was very reasonably priced and tasty! There is so much to do that is free, it is worth the trip just for those things (we did pay for some activities).

While up here on vacation we were looking for something to do in an afternoon. We discovered this museum and had a great time looking at the many variety of locomotives. Admission is $8 per adult. If you like trains this is a great place to visit.

I can't believe I only just discovered this museum! The car and train collections are absolutely staggering. I was in awe when I saw that they had an original Chrysler Turbine Car - one of 9 or so left in existence!

Fair warning, almost the entire museum is outside and there's a significant amount of walking or climbing in/on to trains - so dress appropriately and be prepared for some slippery surfaces.

If your kids (or you yourself) are into transportation at all...YOU MUST VISIT HERE AT LEAST ONCE. But be careful..if you do go here, its a trap. You and/or your kids will love it sp much they will want to return week after week.

Plenty to do and look at. Lots of historic trains, sits right by U.P. tracks so you can see in service trains go by too. Has one of the few Big Boy locomotives left in the country. Car museum and gift shop as well. You can learn slot and see and touch many different types if locomotives and coaches from years past. Lots of parking. Recommend to everyone, both visitors and St. Louisans.

The family loved it and there was more than enough to keep everyone entertained.
