After having bad luck in an early childhood program at a Montessori school in Chesterfield, we've found a great place here. The teachers and administrators are warm and you really get a sense that they care about the kids.
This school is fantastic! All three of our kids go there and we think fantastically prepared for the next level of education. They really give your kids strength in their public speaking skills.
The first word that comes to mind when thinking of Rohan Woods School is "Home!" Both of my children are able to flourish within a safe and loving environment. They are both challenged to their own potential at a pace that aids in building their self confidence. Our family loves being a part of the Rohan Woods Family, and we have seen both our children exceed educational, social, and emotional grade level bench marks beyond their outside school peers! On long holidays off school we hear, " I am school sick, when do we get to go back?" This says it all to us, as parents!
Our daughter loves this school and it shows. She's thriving and we can see her development improve every week.
We’ve been at Rohan Woods for almost 5 years and we couldn’t be happier. The love that the faculty and staff have for the children at Rohan Woods is amazing. The excellence in academics and the loving environment is why we call this place “home”!
My son started halfway through the school year in the Early Childhood program, and is now in 2nd grade. I also have a daughter that started in the Early Childhood program and is now in Junior Kindergarten. As my children have grown up in the school, their vastly different learning styles and personalities have been met with encouragement, respect, and customization to how they learn, from an academic and social perspective. I value the smaller class sizes for the nurturing environment it allows for children to be confident in trying something new. My quiet son can confidently give a presentation in front of his class or lead the pledge of allegiance in front of the whole school. My daughter can sing till her hearts content (albeit, a little off-key!) or pretend she is Superman. I could not imagine my children in another school, and am constantly amazed at the lengths the school and faculty will take to make sure my children receive the best quality education in St. Louis.
