It was busy, but I was seated quickly. Our server was friendly but not memorable. He was able to give me suggestions based on a short list what I know I don’t like. Tacos came out quickly and were fresh and tasty. Will return and would recommend.
Food was great but our waitress was TERRIBLE!!! She had short curly hair and round glasses, with the personality like a wet mop. But the rest of the staff was super nice. I think the bar tenders name was David, really great guy. The food was to die for amazing!!! I will be back every chance I can get to MO! (I’ll just know to get a different waiter) the shrimp taco & portobello tacos are amazing.
I absolutely love, love, love this place!! Chill environment, food is awesome and the drinks are great!! Perfect for a 1st date, guys/gals night out, catching up with old friends or colleagues. The staff's amazing as well. Very inviting and attentive, definitely a place to check out if you haven't already!
This place is good enough for the Midwestern palate, but wouldn't pass in a more seasoned region. The fries were great, and the shrimp tacos were fair to ok. The duck tacos were super sloppy and wet. I suggest that the meat be drained before filling the tortilla. The "Mexican street corn" was too heavy and the (side) portion was incredibly large. Traditionally, it's served on the cob, and I would suggest that the portion be sized to match slightly above a "cob portion". It was in a pretty big bowl which suffocates the kernels, and ultimately making them soft...you want a crunch. There was also no lime presence in the corn. Service was pretty good and the busboy was super pleasant as we left.
The Brah'rito was filling but the beans seemed to lack flavor. Meat was well flavored. Tacos according to my daughter were good but the size of a regular taco bell taco. I would say a bit pricey for the size but to be fair it's a nice place to eat in the loop and one cannot expect taco bell prices. Server was very friendly.
