When checking in, front desk had to be told of a Senior Discount quoted. Didn't expect such a HIGH tax rate($51.00+tx=$70.+). Entrances where on ends of building except going through lobby. Toilet lid almost not attached & shower drained, eventually! No breakfast except muffins, no butter, no coffee & was told when making reservations there was a continental breakfast w/ eggs. Good thing Denny's & Westport isn't far. Oh ya, watch your head in shower, ceiling paint buldging out ready to fall. Next visit home, anywhere else. SORRY
Horrible experience. I made reservations over the phone with a nice agent who told me I could hold reservations with my card & pay cash upon arrival. When I made it to the hotel, it was late & it took the front desk agent 15 MINUTES to come to the front desk & check me in. Then as I began to pay with cash I was told the location only accepts cards. But the sign on the wall stated that cash paying customers will have to pay a $100 deposit (which was fine) but not was I was being told. Therefore I could not check in leaving me the inconvenience of having to find another hotel. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Won’t ever book again!!

I originally booked a 6 night stay as my sister had been hospitalized in the area. Upon checking in we noticed the room reeked of smoke despite being asked to sign a waiver that said we would pay a $250 fee if we smoked in the room. Half of the pillows didn't have pillow cases on them. A light bulb was burnt out in one of the overhead fixtures and there was luggage from a previous guest hanging in the closet. We immediately notified housekeeping who were out in the hallway talking. They put on the pillowcases, removed the luggage and said they would replace the lightbulb (but never did). There were no dishes in the room and we were told we would have to go check out what we needed from the front desk. We dropped our luggage and went back to the hospital. At 10:00 pm, I returned to the hotel. In the bathroom, I noticed the sink was filled with black hairs, like someone had cut/shaved their hair over the sink. I tried to overlook this as I was exhausted and just wanted to go to bed. After scouring all the flat surfaces in the bathroom and the kitchen, I went to pull the covers back on the bed and adjust the pillows and what should greet me on the pillow? A bedbug!!!! That was it for me. I immediately packed all of our things back in the car and went to the front desk to check out at 11:50 pm. I booked through Expedia and was told I'd have to call them to get a refund, which I did while I waited in the lobby. The front desk employee told Expedia they would give me a full refund, but I ended up still getting charged for one night. Ridiculous!!! The photos on Expedia were absolutely not of a room on this property. It was absolutely disgusting and complete false advertising. I'll never attempt to stay at an Extended Stay America property again.
First room we were put in the cord was cut to the tv. We called the front desk, asked to be moved or have the tv fixed. We had to gather our things and switch rooms. Got to the second room and the cabinet drawer fronts were off, trim was falling off the wall and the drain was in pieces. Every other extended stay we have stayed in has been nice and very well kept. This one doesn't seem up to par. Informed the front desk of the state of the room, hoping we don't get charged for damages.
