My three children all graduated from St. Paul's and now my grandchildren are being educated in the same manner. The technology might have changed but the basic core values still are evident. The teachers truly care about the children and the love of Jesus shows in all they do. The preparation for high school is the best. I cannot say enough about how much our extended family loves St. Paul Des Peres!
My husband and I love this church! We especially enjoy the in-depth, Biblical teaching. Pastor Smith is Scriptural in his preaching and leading of this congregation. There are Bible studies throughout the week and varied ministries....just get involved and you will make friends for life. We cannot say enough about the teaching here, having come from other denominations. We have grown in our faith immensely and in our understanding of worship too. This is truly home.
This is about the only LCMS church in the area that is totally liturgical, creedal, confessional and relies upon Scripture alone as it's final authority. No pop culture music, no pop culture authors/pastors, no outside Bible studies of questionable theology. This church is dedicated to nurturing both mature Christians and educating new Christians by worshipping in Spirit and Truth, neither denying anything in the Bible nor adding anything to what God has not already given. This is the place to be if you are tired of guessing what God is all about and want to meet Him face to face through the Sacraments.
